So here we are, a brand new look at payments.

Continuing a story that started with a simple thought. Or rather 18,000 of them when we asked some of our customers what they thought, liked and wanted.

We listened. Then listened some more. Skrill is our reply.

It’s a reply that will let us deliver online payments to our growing global audience. In ways that suit how they live online, that liberate not frustrate. Delivering on the promise that online will set us free.

Where’s the freedom when you have to enter the 16 digits of your card, expiry and start date, the CVC number, your name (as it appears on the card), your full registered address and then need to remember the second, fourth and eighth letter of your secret password? That’s without even knowing who you’re sharing this information with.

We know you want to feel comfortable when paying online.

So, at Skrill we store this information securely and become your memory for payment details, so you never share them with anyone. Meaning you can pay via a simple click. Isn’t that how you want it to be?

It’s how we will make it, but just a small part of how we will change things as we shake up digital payments from beginning to end. At the minute we’re still making the journey - our new look is a step forward within our existing system, but you can expect much more. By summer 2012 we will have got there: new features, new functions, new services, new approaches, a new focus on putting the customer first.

Ripping up the rule book.

Or rather, writing our own. Which you can help us do by telling us what you’ve always wanted to see offered when you make or receive online payments.

Let us know on the feedback page. We’ll listen. And, as you already know, reply.
