In order to participate in the Road to South Africa Promotion (the “Promotion”) or the VIP Road to South Africa Promotion (the “VIP Promotion”) (together “the Promotions”), you need to do any of the following::
Only holders of a personal Skrill (Moneybookers) Account can participate. Holders of business accounts are excluded. You also cannot participate if you are an employee (or a family member of such employee) of Moneybookers Ltd or any other company of the Skrill (Moneybookers) Group.
Customers who wish to participate in the VIP Promotion must have VIP status with Skrill (Moneybookers). You can enter the VIP Promotion at any time during the promotion period once you have obtained VIP status. VIPs that already participate in a Skrill (Moneybookers) cash back promotion are excluded from both the Promotion and the VIP Promotion.
If you are a new Skrill (Moneybookers) customer, as part of the registration process for your Skrill (Moneybookers) Account you will be asked to accept our general Terms of Use which will govern the relationship between you and us. Further information is contained in our Privacy Policy. You must be 18 years or older to use our services. Registration is free.
By registering for the Promotions you agree to these Terms and Conditions and agree to receive additional email communication from Skrill (Moneybookers) and Promotion Partners in relation to the Promotions.
The Promotions start on 1st May 2010 and end on 11th July 2010 (inclusive) (the “Promotion Period”).
Skrill (Moneybookers) reserves the right to end the Promotions at any time during the Promotion Period in its sole discretion or to make changes to the Promotions at any time in its sole discretion by giving notice to existing participants via email to the email account registered with the participant’s Skrill (Moneybookers) account.
During the Promotion Period, every 200th (400th, 600th, etc.) eligible transaction in any prize tier and in any calendar week will win a prize depending on the transaction amount in accordance with the prize tiers published on the Promotion Website.
Transactions made by VIPs will be counted separately. During the Promotion Period, every eligible transaction by a VIP accumulates to a prize in accordance with the VIP prize tiers published on the Promotion Website.
Eligible transactions are any payments of €50.00 or more (or equivalent amount in another currency) made to any Skrill (Moneybookers) merchant. Payments to merchants will always reflect the same price you would pay if you had not entered the Promotion. Participants in the Promotions are not required to pay any additional fees, premiums or mark-ups on the purchases made. Player account checkouts paid into your Skrill (Moneybookers) account, withdrawals from your Skrill (Moneybookers) account or person to person transactions do not qualify as eligible transactions.
Eligible transactions for the 1,000 EUR Cashback Promotion are all deposit payments provided that the total amount deposited in the period between 7th June until 11th July 2010 at any website except for the Betfair website reaches over 1000 Euro (or equivalent amount in another currency).
Eligible transactions for Granting the VIP Status Promotion are all deposit payments, provided that the total amount deposited in the period between 7th June until 11th July 2010 at any website reaches over 5000 Euro (or equivalent amount in another currency).
Skrill (Moneybookers) reserves the right to disregard any transactions that Skrill (Moneybookers) in its sole but reasonable discretion deems an abuse of these Promotions, including but not limited to transactions that have no commercial purpose or multiple transactions that are made to artificially increase the chance of winning.
Prize tiers and corresponding prizes are displayed on the Promotion Website and described in the relevant correspondence.
Prizes are subject to availability and Skrill (Moneybookers) reserves the right to substitute a prize for an equivalent prize at any time and in its sole discretion. Non-cash prizes cannot be substituted for cash.
Prize winnings will be determined weekly and winners will be notified within 14 days by email sent to the primary email account registered on the Skrill (Moneybookers) Account. If Skrill (Moneybookers) is unable to contact the winner at his or her primary email account or does not receive a response within 14 days of the notification, the prize shall be forfeited and Skrill (Moneybookers) has the right to award the prize to an alternative winner.
In order to ship prizes, we may require further information from you such as a valid shipping address.
You are not required to pay for shipping or to pay any other fees or charges or incur any costs in connection with receiving the prize.
Cash back prizes for VIPs are credited to the winner’s Skrill (Moneybookers) Account.
Cash back prizes from the 1,000 EUR Cashback Promotion are credited to the winner’s Skrill (Moneybookers) Account.
We may ask you to consent to publication of your first name and country and town of residence.
If you apply for the Moneybookers prepaid MasterCard® (the “Skrill (Moneybookers) Card”) between 11/06/2010 00:00h BST and 11/07/2010, you will receive one additional entry in each week in which you make at least one eligible transaction with your Skrill (Moneybookers) Account after application for the Card. The standard application fee applies, there is no requirement to pay more than the normal application fee for the Card. Application and use of the Card is subject to the Card Terms and Conditions. You will not receive an additional entry if you are a participant of the VIP Promotion or if you have a merchant account. You will receive an extra entry in the tier of your lowest transaction in the week in question if your lowest transaction is in tier 1, 2 or 3. If your highest transaction is in tier 4 or 5, you will receive an entry for your Card application in tier 3. You will not receive an additional entry (or forfeit an entry already received) if you cancel the Card within the cooling off period as described in the Card Terms and Conditions.
By entering any of these Promotions, you accept the Terms and Conditions of this Promotion. We reserve to refuse the award of a prize where we have reason to believe that you have breached or tried to breach these Terms and Conditions or the Terms of Use of your Skrill (Moneybookers) Account or attempted to circumvent Skrill (Moneybookers)’ security or operational procedures. All decisions by Skrill (Moneybookers) are final and no further correspondence will be entered into. Participants agree that no legal action may be brought against Skrill (Moneybookers) by any participant.
The Promotions are brought to you solely by Moneybookers Ltd. They are not made on behalf of any merchant or Promotion Partner.
The Promotions are governed by English Law. The Promotions are void where prohibited by law. Any matters relating to the Promotions will be resolved under English Law and the Courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction. By accepting these rules you confirm that you are not breaching any laws in your country of residence regarding the legality of entering our Promotions. Skrill (Moneybookers) will not be held responsible for any entrant entering unlawfully. If in any doubt you should immediately leave the website and check with the relevant authorities in your country. If circumstances make this necessary, Skrill (Moneybookers) reserves the right to modify the terms of the Promotions.
