Moneybookers Ltd. Moneybookers accepts American Express
Effective February 3, 2006 Skrill accepts payments through American Express. Adding American Express to the Skrill credit/debit card portfolio shows the companies commitment to offer it's customers a broad range of funding methods. On top of the already popular credit/debit cards Visa and MasterCard, American Express will allow Skrill to reach new customers that only have an American Express card.
Merchants that directly process credit/debit card transactions with Skrill can now also accept payments through American Express.
Expanding its range of payment methods is key to the success of the Skrill e-wallet. Over the last few years Skrill has developed a unique network of payment methods to serve their 1.5 million strong customer base. This includes domestic options in over 35 countries which means customers can make deposits without incurring cross-border charges.
